The purpose of Fun Fest is to bring the Detroit Metropolitan community together for a weekend of fun, music, fellowship and to support the construction of the Mariam Center Project.

The past success of the festival has helped the Basilica of St. Mary to purchase five and a half acres on festival grounds upon which the proposed Mariam Center project (a retirement and assisted living community) will be constructed. The Michigan Fun Fest will be partnering with local organizations and educational institutions, so the festival will truly benefit the entire community.

The Festival will take place on Merriman Road between Six and Seven Mile in Livonia, and will feature exciting entertainment that includes multiple carnival rides, a casino, lots of live music, and many vendors
