From Clinton Fall Festival Website:

Clinton Fall Festival Proudly Celebrating 45 Years!

The beginnings were simple. In 1973 people in the village of Clinton decided to have a little festival at the end of September. They hoped to promote the benefits of living in this place next to the River Raisin in northeastern Lenawee County.

That simple beginning has grown to become a three day extravaganza that brings tens of thousands to enjoy fun, food, and festivities. In the process funds are raised for all the non-profit organizations and churches in the area. Additionally, since 1999, the Fall Festival Board of Directors has provided nearly $100,000 in scholarships to graduating Clinton High School students.

We are proud to continue this tradition in its 45th year and are most thankful to the people of this community, and their great history of selflessly "pitching-in" to make Fall Festival happen. We are able to have this festival because of the generous support of the merchants, organizations, school system, churches, neighbors, Clinton village staff, and set-up and clean-up crews.

Businesses in Clinton have been an integral part of the success of Clinton Fall Festival. In this 45th anniversary year we are pleased to welcome several new business ventures to town, highlighted by the grand opening of the Clinton Art Center.

Throughout the streets of town you will enjoy two stages of entertainment, the wares of arts-and-crafts vendors and merchants, food vendors' tasty treats, information from non-profit organizations, many demonstrations of lost arts, a display of the history of Fall Festival, activities and displays from the schools, a silent auction, and a used book sale. Tate Park, at the west end of town, hosts a car show, softball tournament, Michigan High School Rodeo, and a large carnival. A one hour long grand parade highlights Sunday afternoon.

So please join us in Clinton, MI on September 27, 28, and 29 to celebrate 45 years!
