Clarkston Art in the Village

For four decades, Art in the Village has been an autumn tradition in Clarkston, bringing thousands of shoppers to the city's historic Depot Park. Always held on a September weekend, this show is hosted by the Clarkston Community Historical Society and features carefully selected artisans from across the region.

In addition to paintings, pottery, sculpture, photography, jewelry and other handmades, the show the Society's primary fund-raiser features live music, free children's activities and food sold by local civic groups.

Two favorites include a Silent Auction of items donated by participating artists; and an Antique Tent where shoppers can browse through donated antiques and collectibles. All proceeds support the Clarkston Heritage Museum as well as free educational programs throughout the year.

LOCATION
Historic Clarkston is located between Dixie Highway (M-24) and I-75 (Exit 91). Depot Park is just west of Main Street (M-15).

HOURS
Show hours are Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m..
