After a very exciting and successful first year, the new Art Rapids! event, "Experience Art Rapids!" will be returning in 2018. Experience Art Rapids! is a 14-day art competition and exhibition held throughout the Village of Elk Rapids with local businesses and public spaces playing host to some of the region's finest artists.

The public will be invited to explore the many venues, experience the warmth and charm of Elk Rapids, and cast their vote for their favorite works of art. Art Rapids will award juried prizes and a people's choice prizes totaling $7,000.
