SCS Aqua Freeze Festival got its start in 2013 when a few friends mentioned on FaceBook that an ice Festival in our city would be a great idea. Combining the festival with Pond Hockey was a suggestion. The idea turned into a few meetings about what we could do and who we could work with to accomplish our lofty goal.
In just a few months time a committee was formed by our Mayor and the planning began. We worked hard to get commitments from local businesses and corporate sponsors to create a spectacular Aqua Freeze Festival in February, 2014.
New for 2018 we will be adding a few more features for more family fun. Please come and join us. It will be a fun time along with a Fowling competition featuring Police vs. City , Parks & Rec, Vs Residents, St. Joan VS St. Isaac contests.
