Presented by the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts, the 67th Annual KIA Fair is a festive event, acclaimed for hosting high-quality juried art works by about 185 artists. It spans two days (a Friday and a Saturday) that overlap with several community activities, is promoted across Lower Michigan and Northern Indiana, attracts upwards of 40,000 patrons, awards at least 14 $200 best-in-category prizes, and features many artist amenities. The fair traditionally kicks off summer in Kalamazoo. And its a beloved community celebration that draws patrons from Kalamazoo and a surrounding region that stretches between Lake Michigan, Northern Indiana, Detroit, and Lansing.
