2nd annual Monroe County Earth Day

This year's Earth Expo will again promote local green living by emphasizing buying and living locally and educate residents on everyday actions they can take to help restore and protect our community and the Earth. New this year, the Expo is also looking for exhibitors in the health and wellness field to promote the connection between green living and personal health and wellness to support the "Healthy Planet, Healthy You" theme.

Earth Expo activities are family-friendly and include, prize drawings, entertainment, educational exhibits, crafts and activities for children. Best of all, they are FREE! Monroe County Recycling and Green Community Program, River Raisin Institute, the Monroe County Library System, Mercy Memorial Hospital and the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary are coordinating this event. The Expo is a fantastic opportunity to promote your business or organization with over 600 visitors expected to attend! Please plan to join the celebration on April 22

Registrations are being accepted until March 20, 2015 for those interested in reserving a free exhibit space. The Expo planning committee is also seeking groups, businesses or individuals who would like to be a sponsor of the event.
