This year, we are making a few changes based on feedback from both shoppers and crafters alike. The show will be exclusively for handcrafted, homemade, artisan and upcycled items, and will feature a host of styles and products from primitive and rustic to shabby chic and eclectic.
As a crafter in this show, youll get free publicity before the show. You can submit photos of your designs prior to the show, and we will feature them on this blog as well as several Facebook pages. If you have an Etsy page or online shop, we can link directly to that, so you can sell even more! Also, we will provide you with lots of tips to help you make your show as profitable as can be. This site will be posting craft show success tips now through the show!
Thumb Festival in Sandusky is changing a bit to better reflect the times, and is a one day street fair this year, with nearly all events within a 4 block radius of downtown. This will bring more people to the area, get them to stay and walk around, and will help our crafters to sell more. The heart of the festival is right on South Elk Street downtownwith activities that appeal to all generations. This years craft show is right in the center of everything!
