First Weekend in June

Planning for the 44th Annual Carson City Frontier Days is in full swing. Make sure Thursday, June 2nd through Sunday, June 5th are marked on your calendar. The 2016 festival is one that you will not want to miss! Our focus again this year is to offer all of the events throughout the festival weekend to be totally free to all in attendance. FREE FAMILY FRIENDLY FUN is our mission! We are excited to be hosting the 11th Hot Air Balloon Shoot-Out. The skies will be filled with familiar hot air balloons as well as a few new ones. The pilots are excited to be coming back and are hoping to give you a good show!

Also back this year is Kids' Heath and Safety Day. We have added a few new offerings at this event that will be interactive. Also returning this year will be the Community Picnic on Thursday evening, the Outdoor Movie on Friday night, the 5K and Kids' Zone with new ride options to keep you entertained on Saturday, and of course the fireworks to finish the night.
