Are you wondering why you've never heard of this show? It was formerly "Art on the River" and now in year 4, it's being updated/morphed into the Huron Valley Arts Festival. It's a new look and a new focus, bringing more great artists to Commerce Township and still sponsored by the Huron Valley Council for the Arts.

The festival centers on the art, but also features artist demos, live music and children's activities. There will be food available and this year a craft beer tent as well.

With a focus on continuing the success of the festival, esteemed artist Bonnie Blandford has been added as Show Director. Her responsibilities are to encourage, promote, and ensure high standards for artist recruitment and to utilize her vast experience as a show creator to further grow the audience and buyers that attend each year.

The festival's home is the beautiful Dodge Park V which is a historic wooded location in the heart of Commerce Township in Oakland County.
