The Growing Up Green Festival is an outdoor, family friendly event in Metro Detroit. The founders of Growing Up Green, Nicole Thayer and Courtney Forgues, were frustrated with trying to find healthier resources for their families. Courtney, mom of 5, and Nicole, mom of 3, are both on a journey of better health and a more natural lifestyle. Their goal is to educate, connect, and empower families to make better choices. The Growing Up Green festival welcomes businesses, individuals, and companies who are making an effort to do better and 'go green!'. Bring out the family! There will be classes, crafts, games, giveaways and SO MUCH MORE for kids and adults alike! Come in the morning for a farmer's market atmosphere. Get breakfast, take a yoga class, and enjoy a fun craft. Keep your ticket and come back in the evening for dinner and a live band. Bring your blanket and hunker down for a fun, family friendly evening concert. We can't wait to have you!
