| Description: | From Grand Blanc Art Fair Website: The Grand Blanc Arts Council is presenting its 16th Annual Art Fair on Saturday, August 2 (10 am - 5 pm) and Sunday, August 3 (10 am - 5 pm) rain or shine. Admission and parking are free.
The mission of the GBAC, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, is to encourage cultural awareness of the arts in all forms, and to coordinate and provide community art events.
The Art Fair is located at Physician's Park, on Reid Road, one block from Grand Blancs main street in the heart of downtown. The park includes a pavilion, clean indoor restrooms, a children's play area and a parking lot, with additional parking available nearby. Restaurants and a Sunday Farmers Market are within walking distance.
Art Fair events include 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awards for "Best in Show", performing musical groups and a silent auction. Some of the many artist amenities are booth sitters, morning coffee and bagels, and bottled water.
