Art In The Village

For four decades, Art in the Village has been an autumn tradition in Clarkston, bringing thousands of shoppers to the city's historic Depot Park. Held the third week of September, this show is hosted by the Clarkston Community Historical Society and features carefully selected artisans from across the region.

In addition to paintings, pottery, sculpture, photography, jewelry and other hand mades, the show - the Society's primary fund-raiser - features live music, free children's activities and food sold by local civic groups.

Two favorites include a Silent Auction of items donated by participating artists; and an Antique Tent where shoppers can browse through donated antiques and collectibles. All proceeds support the Clarkston Heritage Museum as well as free educational programs throughout the year.
